lyrics
Just a year ago, I saw you at the show
You didn't catch my eye on first impressions
There you were again, talking with your friends
You didn't give me hope with your expressions
But now you're standing right in front of me
There's something different in the way I'm feeling
Take a chance on the passing of time
And give a second look
Who knows what you'll find
Leave the dark and step into the light
'Cause I believe in love at third sight
When I look at you, I never really knew
They say don't judge a book by its cover
Anyone can change, thoughts can rearrange
And so your view's replaced by another
And now you're standing right in front of me
There's something different in the way I'm feeling
Take a chance on the passing of time
And give a second look
Who knows what you'll find
Leave the dark and step into the light
'Cause I believe in love at third sight

Just a great and varied collection of songs from all sorts of different acts. I buy this festival record annually and will continue to do so. Gavin Hellyer
Avant-garde indie pop gems from Japan with melodies that go unexpected places and all sorts of quirky instrumentation. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 20, 2018
Another stellar effort from the Melbourne producer and singer-songwriter, built around fragmented grooves, warped vocals, and catchy hooks. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 29, 2020

Living in Australia pretty much rules me out of ever attending this festival so my annual purchase of this compilation is surely the next best thing. And I'm pleased to relate that it's up to it's usual high standard. Gavin Hellyer
