Where's the boy I used to know The one who said, he loved me so? That gentle touch, where did it go? Now all I see is you Where's the boy who held my hand And when I cried would understand? A glowing life, we had it planned Now all I see is you Where's the boy I used to love Singing to the stars above? In his place, a man I barely recognise anymore Where's the boy I used to love Singing to the stars above? In his place, a man I barely recognise anymore Where's the boy I used to know The one who said, he loved me so? That gentle touch, where did it go? Now all I see is you

I walk alone along the sidewalk I never let them know what I know All my secrets safe inside my mind I shy away from all emotions I never let them in but I know I've got to make you see while there's still time So I'm leaving all my cards out on the table I'm giving you a chance to play your part I want to show to you that I am able To share a little love inside my heart I hide away from close encounters I never let my feelings be known I'd rather burrow deep into my hole I'm never one for conversation I never like to talk but this time I'm going to let you look inside my soul So I'm leaving all my cards out on the table I'm giving you a chance to play your part I want to show to you that I am able To share a little love inside my heart So I'm leaving all my cards out on the table I'm giving you a chance to play your part I want to show to you that I am able To share a little love inside my heart

about

This Single is only available in digital format

This Single closes a small circle. It is clear that Joe Moore will continue moving forward with his overflowing creativity, but this Digital Single is the last song from the debut album of Lia Pamina, which is one of his most important song-writing associations so far. The sweet, silky voice of the artist from Castellon has strengthened the romantic facet of Joe’s songs, bringing them closer to the muses of the French chanson and making “Love Is Enough” one of the most beautiful, precious albums released in recent months.

The final proof is this “The Boy I Used To Know”, included on the album and which breaks our hearts, reminding us of some of the most melancholic moments in Jacques Demy’s movies. Delicateness, emotions rising to the surface, unforgettable arrangements, out of this world chamber pop. For the cherry on top, we have a previously unreleased track, “Cards On The Table”, which maintains the elegant, baroque spirit with a light touch of bossa and lounge.
